Modern Atmosphere in Prague

Throughout its entire 1,100 year existence Prague has been an important political, cultural and economic center drawing visitors from all around the globe. Its historical and cultural sites including the Charles Bridge, Old Town Square, Jewish Quarter and the Prague Castles can be found scattered around its easily walkable Old Town area or close by. Many visitors who visit Prague look to stay in the Old Town area to have easy access to these impressive sites.
During my visit to Prague in April 2016 I visited 8 different hotels near and in the Old Town area of Prague. Below are two unique hotel options I found that are suited for group or individual travelers and stood out from the rest.
Penta Hotel: The Penta hotel is a 4-star hotel with a modern atmosphere and décor, onsite restaurant with local and international food options, a breakfast buffet with a wide selection of foods, and lots of lobby space for friends to gather. They even have a pool table and PS2 for guests to use free of charge. The rooms are quite spacious. Located outside of the Old Town area in Karlin it is near a metro station (2 minutes walking) allowing travelers to be in the Old Town area in 11 minutes. This is a great hotel for large groups who require coach transportation as the coach is able to pull right up to the front of the building, something that is not possible at hotels in the Old Town area.
